Because of Roseville´s central location to both downtowns and the abundance of shops and businesses, it is considered to be the retail and commercial hub of the northeast suburban area.
This 13.8 square mile city includes 30 parks covering 632 acres and 64 miles of trails. Roseville residents enjoy easy access to theaters, malls, dining establishments, and downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Since Roseville is so conveniently located to both downtowns, it presents a perfect option for those homeowners who make that commute. Roseville is part of the inner ring of suburbs so the homes have been around longer and the neighborhoods are more established than some other communities. First Time Home Buyers
I specialize in helping first time home buyers realize the American Dream! It is extremely rewarding for me to provide the education, service, guidance, and expertise they deserve to make an informed decision they will feel good about for years to come. Many of my first time home buyers are drawn to the South Minneapolis areas (including Edina, St. Louis Park, and Richfield) due to the proximity to downtown and the Lakes. The housing stock in these areas is predominantly single family and built before the 1960s.? Some townhouses and, more often, condos are sprinkled throughout the areas. The multitude of lakes, walking paths, and night life is a huge attribute for living in the areas close to Minneapolis.
However, sometimes my first time home buyer clients prefer to get a little more for their money, a larger yard, an attached garage, or just something newer. The first ring suburbs surrounding Minneapolis/St. Paul (ie. Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Roseville, and Shoreview) offer additional options, without completely sacrificing the proximity to our downtowns. In addition, the second ring suburbs (ie, Burnsville, Maple Grove, Blaine and Lino Lakes) bring the opportunity for newer construction, modern finishes, greater square footage, and nearby amenities with the trade-off being the commute to the cities.
